MISSION: The San Francisco Immunization Coalition was founded in 1996 and is comprised of diverse public and private interests whose mission is to achieve full immunization protection for each child and adult in San Francisco in order to promote community health and prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases.
FUNDING: The Coalition receives funds from local, State government sources, as well as, from private foundations, community health partners, and fundraising events. The Coalition does not accept direct operational, educational, or personnel funding from pharmaceutical companies.
COMMUNITY PARTERS: The Coalition does partner with many organizations private, public, and nonprofit to accomplish our mission. These partners include vaccine manufacturers and health care providers. The philosophy of the Coalition is simply to bring together diverse interests to make immunizations more effective and safer for all San Franciscans.
FISCAL AGENT: The Coalition operates under the fiscal and programmatic sponsorship of the San Francisco Study Center - 1095 Market Street Suite 601, San Francisco, CA 94103 Tax ID # 94-2168838.
